Sweet Siblings

I had a shoot with two little siblings Tuesday & boy was it a lot of fun. These two are only 10 months apart & you would swear they were twins. Beautiful blonde hair, big blues eyes to die for & such sweet smiles.

Here Come The Brides............

Well at the end of the year I have plenty of Beautiful Brides to photograph. My October Saturdays are booked with weddings & I am excited not to mention I have some weddings in September & November to look forward to also. Seems 2011 is the year to get married & I am proud to say one of those weddings is my little brothers. Yes I am their photographer & my 2 youngest are in the wedding. I can not wait. I get to be more creative with these photos as my gorgeous sister-in-law to be wants different & her taste is amazing! I have already started brainstorming so I hope on the day it all goes together so I can capture some amazing memories for them.
If you are getting married this year & still need a photographer then I'm your gal. If it's the end of the year your getting married then get in quick lol.

MoNStEr MaSH ~ PaRTY tIMe

My baby boy Eli turns SIX tomorrow (May 16th) He had his birthday party today at the park with family & friends. The weather was perfect & everyone had a fantastic fun time.
I love organizing my kids birthday parties. I have so much fun making all their decorations, helping them choose a theme, making their birthday cakes & all the little details that make the party. This year Eli wanted a Monster Mash Birthday Party which was a lot of fun to organize with bright colours & fun funky looking monsters.
I hope my boy had a great day & an even better one tomorrow. Those 6 years have flown by & I am the proudest mum ever!!!

Happy Mother's Day

I hope all the Mum out there had a wonderful Mother's Day. I know I did........
My day started off with breakfast in bed the kids & hubby cooked for me. They always go all out & this year I was made a BLT salad with crispy baked bread & some yummy fruit drink.
The kids then gave me their cards they had made at school. I just love getting handmade gifts from the kids the excitement on their faces is priceless. I was given The Scripts new CD & a new quilt cover which I then had to redecorate my room but hey I LOVE doing that lol. We then went for a drive to Pt Germein for a picnic lunch with the family. My day was wonderful.

My Gorgeous Bunch

Yesterday I took my kids out for a quick photo shoot. The main reason was to get some photos to give to the kids godmothers/guardians for mother's day & my youngest son turns 6 in a couple of weeks so I needed a photo for his invite.
By the time we got home from school & got them all dressed & ready the setting of the sun wasnt my best friend especially at the location I wanted to take them but I made do & even though the lightening isnt the best on some of the photos I still like them.
It amazes me everyday how quick they have grown & how much their personalities are changing. How different they are to each other & how lucky I am to be a mum to 4 such amazing children.

So here they are, my gorgeous bunch Kiah, Isaiah, Eli & little miss Lilli

Mother's Day Mini Sessions ~ Success

Sunday I held my Mother's Day Mini Photo Sessions. I could not of been happier with the turn out.

The sessions were held at the park & was my first location mini session. The day was not a great one weather wise. There was on & off rain, just a drizzle but enough to wet everything so instead of moving everything to a new location I used the rotunda at the park. No dramas lol.

I hope all my customers love their Mother's Day photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Megan has been a very loyal customer of mine for as long as I can remember. I have shared some pretty amazing special times in her life with her. From capturing her & her husbands wedding day, taking photos of their gorgeous little girl Mia, Maternity photos when she became pregnant with their second daughter & I was honoured when she asked me to come take some photos of her precious new baby girl Lilly on the day she was born & take more of that precious baby a few weeks later. Thank You Megan for asking me to capture some truely amazing memories for you & I hope your Mother's Day is as wonderful as you xx

What to Wear ~ Winter Potraits

I often get people ask me what should they wear to their photo shoots. With the cooler weather starting to set in & winter around the corner I thought I would post some ideas that might help my clients out.

Dressing for your family photos is really quite simple if you keep with the same two or three colours.

I'm one to love colour. You dont have to dress yourself or your family in all bright colours but just a few touches of colour can make for some nice deatil to a photo.
